Nicholas J. Scaturro

Boston born, Italian/Irish, Scaturro has found a home here after traveling from the US to Tokyo & Hong Kong. Graduating top of his class at Brooks Institute of Photography in California, he set up and ran his own studio in Hollywood where he has worked with many famous celebrities & rock stars. He has a keen eye for detail and is an unmatched creative connoisseur. It’s a ‘team effort’ he says; a collaboration with his subjects, “They are the real stars. I just handle the creative bit.” He seeks to create something that challenges the norm. Most recently Nicholas spearheaded a campaign where he turned the streets of Singapore into a fashion runway for a citywide awareness campaign. Currently he is; staff photographer for STUFF magazine, collaborating on intensely technical project with some international ad agencies and trying to build a humanitarian travel portfolio documenting the natural beauty of Asian being run over in the name of progress. He is not willing to sacrifice the artistic integrity just shot just to make it easier. He still believes in the art of the process and strives to give you the very best and something unique. Recently Nicholas has been called upon by several advertising agencies to bring new life and ideas to some of their cutting edge campaigns.
