Lauryn Ishak

Lauryn Ishak is a photographer based in Singapore. after graduating from new york university's Tisch school of the arts with a major in photography and imaging, she returned to Asia in the summer of 2007 to re-acquaint herself with the region. Lauryn has documented many of her adventures with her beloved medium format cameras. nevertheless, she is equally capable with digital photography, if required.

lauryn's love of travel and photography stems from her multi-national background. she was born in germany and has lived in indonesia, hong kong, new york and singapore. well-honed linguistic abilities notwithstanding, (she is fluent in german, bahasa indonesia & understands more chinese and spanish than she imagines) her experience has shaped a unique artistic perspective in portraying the developing and developed world, which she hopes to capture in images for the armchair traveler.
